The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Waynesboro Police Department for the past week:


Monday, June 14

· Linda Mae Powell Grubbs, 42, of 1867 Ben Hatcher Road, Waynesboro, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
· Rachel Ann Thomas, 23, of 2494 Patiller Road, Hephzibah, was arrested for disorderly conduct and interference with police.
· Rolonda Wimberly reported an incident of stalking.
· Chris Grunewald reported a burglary.
· Starr Clark of Wal-Mart reported an incident of theft by taking and forgery in the first degree.
· Stephen Murray, of the Burke County Health Department, reported someone being bitten by a dog.
· Robert Koziol reported a suspicious incident.
· Christopher Dukes reported someone entering an automobile.
· Shameka Dukes reported someone entering an automobile.
· La Sandra Whitfield reported an incident of criminal trespass.
· Rosa Harden reported finding a piece of property.

· Ella Mae Jones reported an incident of aggravated assault, simple battery and the possession of a dangerous weapon.
· Charles Houston reported an incident of armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and someone pointing a firearm at another.
· Investigator Gene Boseman reported an injured subject.
· John Flakes reported an incident of criminal trespass.
· Portia Washington reported an incident of criminal trespass.
· Jay Glisson reported an incident of theft by taking.
· Annie Holmes reported damage to her property.
· Barbara Walden of Video Warehouse reported having trouble with someone.
· Sharon Williams, of the Waynesboro Child Development Center reported damage to city property.

· Benton Lee Hardy, 17, of 2768 Highway 56 south, Waynesboro, was arrested for shoplifting.
· Cedrick Phillips reported an injured person.
· Chartanee Huff reported a burglary and an incident of battery.
· Alicia Wimberly reported an incident of someone entering an auto and the recovery of stolen property.
· Bennie Walker reported having trouble with a subject.
· SFC. Larry Lariscy reported someone entering an automobile.
· Lakeisha Jackson reported receiving harassing phone calls.
· Emmett Adams reported damage to property.
· Sidney Wright reported a theft by taking.
· Charlie Jackson reported an incident of identity theft.

Friday, June 18

· Rosemary Jenkins Durham, 27, of 302 Southeast 80th St., Ocala, Fla., was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
· Dale Andre Roberson, 46, of 713 Cherry St., Waynesboro, was arrested for interference with police.
· Sheila Dunn reported an incident of criminal trespass.
· Venus Shubert reported having trouble with a subject.
· Jennie Abrams reported a suspicious incident.
· Brandy Owens reported receiving harassing phone calls.
· Eric Preston reported an incident of theft by taking.

Saturday, June 19

· Cornelius Doriuntus John-son, 25, of 1520 Highway 56 north, Waynesboro, was arrested for two counts of simple battery and one count criminal trespass. Bond was set at $1,825.
· Roderick Lawrence Rober-son, 29, of 1214 Hale St., Waynesboro, was arrested for being involved in an affray. Bond was set at $1,300.
· Laurie Davis III, 22, of 166 Northview Drive, Keysville, was arrested for being involved in an affray and criminal damage to property in the first degree.
· Willie Cooper reported an incident of criminal trespass.
· Mamie Simpson reported losing her cell phone.


The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Burke County Sheriff’s Office for the past week:

Monday, June 14


· Ike Cooper, 27, of 1610 Smoketown Circle, Sardis, was arrested by the Sardis Police Department for aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, criminal damage to property in the 1st degree and discharging firearm from a public street. A $24,400 property bond was posted.
· Craig Carter of Heavenly Charters LLC Bus Line reported lost or stolen property.

Tuesday, June 15

· Michael Allen Farrer, 23, of 827 Gordon Road, Sardis, was arrested for battery. A $1,200 property bond was posted.
· Randy Wright of Hephzibah reported that someone pointed a pistol at him.
· Tim Burchett of Hephzibah reported that some vicious dogs came onto his property and killed his cat.
· Isaac Prophet Jr. of Hephzibah reported a lost tag.
· Theresa Brown reported damage to her vehicle and a missing lawnmower and weed eater.

Wednesday, June 16

· Cynthia Bell Herring, 46, of 12924 Highway 23 South, Sardis, was arrested for financial identity fraud. A $5,800 property bond was posted.
· J.D. Powell Jr. of Waynes-boro reported damage to his vehicle.
· Djuana Smith of Keysville reported a burglary.
· Shirlean Lewis of Keysville reported an unwanted guest.
· Beth DeLaigle of Waynes-boro reported that someone had placed dirt and grease in the bottom of her swimming pool.
· Jennifer Wiggins of Heph-zibah reported damaged property.
· Clifford Long of Sardis reported a snake in his vehicle.
· Levi Godbee of Hephzibah reported lost or stolen property.
· Deputy Dedric D. Smith reported an incident at Burke County High School where BRAG (Bicycle Ride Across Georgia) participants witnessed two juveniles attempting to steal a school golf cart.
· Jason Wimberly of Waynes-boro reported the theft of anhydrous ammonia off of a tractor.

· Tom Hamilton of Keysville reported that several fence posts were missing from his fence.
· Amanda Dukes of Waynesboro reported an abandoned, wrecked vehicle on Story Mill Road.
· Mrs. Raymond Rosier of Augusta reported that the back door to the residence on her property was opened and the residents had not been seen since January 2004.
· Debra Hancock of Heph-zibah reported that a microwave, CD/cassette stereo system, color television and push mower had been taken from her residence.
· Shonekeidra Bates of Waynesboro reported an incident of battery.
· Yewnica Douglas of Waynesboro reported an interference with child custody.

Friday, June 18


· Claude Daniel Williford Jr., 38, of 861 Allen Road, Hephzibah, was arrested for driving with a revoked license. A $1,200 property bond was posted.
· Patsy Mayer of Waynesboro reported a suspicious person and vehicle.
· Wayne E. Stewart of Wadley reported damage to his vehicle.
· Kenneth Anderson of Hephzibah reported an incident of criminal trespass.
· Ricky Atwell of Gough reported damage to his vehicle tires.
· Steve Lee Pelfrey of Hephzibah reported a lost or stolen tag.
· Thomas Alley Merritt of Waynesboro reported a simple assault.

· Willie Edward Johnson of Waynesboro reported having trouble with someone.
· Robert Bates of Waynesboro reported damage to property and computer invasion of privacy.
· Debra Stinson of Waynesboro reported having a verbal altercation with someone.
· Deputy Joel E. Adams reported the recovery of a stolen motor vehicle on Blount Road, Keysville. The vehicle had been painted black and the motor and transmission were missing.
· Alajuwon Chance of Waynesboro reported having trouble with someone.
